Buckets of tulips out and the sign is up!
What a blast to see my work on the walls of this beautiful art gallery in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town! This has been an unforgettable week and though the timing was quite a challenge with so many other things going on, it was a big push for me to finish a new body of work to ‘gallery ready’.
‘We Have to Grow’ in the window
We (six artists) hired the gallery space some 6 months ago having met during our time on the Professional Development course at Paintbox School of Art. There’s been a lot of preparation behind the exhibition, not just with the painting but with the presentation of brochures, invitations and marketing – such as getting our work in the arts newspaper ‘Artwork’.

We got the work on the walls on Easter Sunday and our opening welcome reception was on Easter Monday. Great to catch up with old and new friends.
